Please accept my sincere condolences to Rose's entire family for your great loss. May God help you get through this difficult time and ease and comfort your pain. May He richly bless you all as you mourn, and the light of His presence be a continual source of consultation. Rose (Ms. Lopez) was my favorite teacher ever. I met her in middle school, she was my math teacher. I loved her so much from the moment I met her. I would often pray that she could adopt me one day. I also prayed that if I had a mother she would be just like Rose. The reality of the matter was that Rose was one of a kind and no other person was like her. I was raised and adopted by my grandparents at the age of two. My grandfather also got the pleasure of meeting Rose. He often would stop by her house and trim her trees and mow her lawn. All because he knew how sweet and kind she was to me. Rose reassured him that she would help me in every way she could and not just in math.  He knew that Rose helped me overcome my shyness too. She was a beautiful little lady with a big heart and so much more. I told her that one day a smart guy is going realize that the best gifts come in a small package and he will be her Prince. I'm so happy that she got not only her prince but a king. Because of the inspiration, kindness, and patience that I learned from her, I have shared this with my two beautiful daughters Angelica and Selena. I never, nor will I ever forget Rose. I have always kept her in my prayers and I always remembered her birthday on September 21.  I was her biggest fan. 
I lost touch with her when I moved to Austin, tx then to Pennsylvania. I am currently living in pa. I know when I see a new Cardinal in my yard it will be Rose coming to say hello to me and to check out all of my flowers. May she always be surrounded by beautiful flowers and Angels as she is now one too. May God always keep her by his side. I know that one day I will see my forever favorite teacher again. I will miss my beloved sister for the rest of my life.  She was such a wonderful person. Miss talking to her on the phone everyday. I love you sister. Think of you all day long. Someday we will be together again

My beloved Tia was always with a contagious smile every time I saw her. I met her when I would pick up my Mom at the school they both worked at. I was like 16….I fell in love with her that day. 
She always supported and was very proud of my two children continuing their higher education from Texas A&M College Station along with Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
She also supported me as a Navy Military spouse. Totally was proud also of my husband serving.
Her graciousness was remarkable.
Her love she had for my Tio was the best thing that ever happened to him. 
Tia Rose 🌹 you will forever be in our hearts. Thank you for sharing the love of gambling, having a cold beer. Gardening. Traveling. 
You were the best of the best.
