After attending public schools and graduating from high school in Alice, she moved to San Antonio. In San Antonio, she worked at the St. Anthony Hotel, Travis Savings & Loan, and San Fernando Cemetery II. Rose loved San Antonio and became involved in the community. She helped in various community activities, including NIOSHA and KLRN fundraising activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Alice J. Breeland, and her brother Lucian P. Jimenez.
She leaves behind her sister Emilie J. Olivares, her brother Dr. Joseph R. Jimenez, and nephews and nieces.
She was a joy to be around for all of us, and especially for the children. They knew that Rose would make holidays like Christmas and Easter would be special with her participation in them.
On Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, a 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass will commence for Ms. Jimenez at St. Joseph Parish (623 E. Commerce St, San Antonio, TX 78205), followed by a Burial Service at San Fernando II Cemetery (746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, TX 78237).
