Rosario Cadena

Rosario Aldaco Cadena passed away at her San Antonio home on Thursday November 12th at the age of 72 years. Rosario was born April 5, 1943 in San Antonio Texas to Consuelo and Carlos Aldaco. Rosario will be deeply missed by her family and she will always live in their hearts. Rosario was a homemaker, a loving mother of three, and grandmother of four. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren. She spent most of her time caring for her family, volunteering at her church, and she was the life of the party at all family gatherings.

Rosario is survived by her husband of 54 years, Abel Cadena Jr., her daughters, Yvonne Hansen and Debra Hickman, and her son, Abel Cadena III; four grandchildren, (Lindsey Vasquez, Ryan Vasquez, Gillian Hansen, and Kylie Hickman); sisters, Margaret Cadena and Gloria Martinez; and brother, Carlos Aldaco Jr.

The rosary will be on Tuesday, November 17th at 7:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio (1701 Austin Highway) and funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18th at 10:00 am at St. Pius Catholic Church in San Antonio (7734 Robin Rest Drive), followed by the burial at Holy Cross Cemetery (17501 Nacogdoches).
