Rosalie Strickland was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend to all who knew her. She taught school in various cities in Texas and retired from San Antonio ISD. She taught at Benjamin Franklin Elementary in San Antonio ISD for 21 years. She was a member of the Shearer Hills Baptist Church for 45 years where she volunteered in many areas of service.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cecil D. Strickland, sisters Olta Niell, Florence Niell and Ruth Karm, brothers Edwin Niell, Woodrow Niell and Lucien Niell. Rosalie is survived by sisters Ima Ubel and Lillie Glenn Crain, Sons and Daughters in law, Niell and Shirley Sugar Land, James and Barbara Conroe Timothy and Carol Houston, Lynn and Mele Maui, Hawaii and Danny Strickland San Antonio. Grandchildren, Bobby, Jeffrey, Lana, J.R., Matthew, Samuel, Elizabeth, Adam, Kela, Michael & Noni. Great grandchildren, Austin, Kyle, Zane, Maria and Chastity and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
