Ronnie Lee Rogers, born August 15, 1954, passed away on July 29, 2022 at the age of 67. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bobbie Lou Rogers; grandfathers, William (Tiny) Mask, Bob Rogers; and grandmother, Ella Vee Mask. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Yadira Garcia; daughter, Porsche Rogers; son, Cody Rogers; brother, Jimmy Rogers; sister, Robbie Rogers; grandchildren, Jeremiah Rogers, Easton Roona, Hope Rogers, and Covy Rogers; and nieces, Reagan Dorsett, Sunny Floyd, Ashton Rogers, Lauren Rogers, and Savana Rogers.
Ronnie graduated from Uvalde High School and was on the All American Football team. He then began working for Grande Ford Truck Center, where he worked for over 25 years. He believed in hard work and dedication, and he proved so by remaining true and working basically until the day he passed. Ronnie was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, playing football, selling trucks, kayaking and floating the river. He was a kind hearted, honest man. Ronnie had the ability to call out any football play and he could also fix anything. Some of these things he taught to friends and family and we will carry on those teachings for life.
A funeral service for Ronnie will be held Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, TX 78232.
