Roger Vidal Delgado entered into the loving arms of our Lord on December 16, 2023 at the age of 67. He was born on July 17, 1956 in San Antonio to Margaret and the late Simon Delgado. He was a graduate of Sidney Lanier High School, Class of 1974. Roger served honorably as a Wire Systems Installer in the United States Army from 1975-1980. His decorations included the Good Conduct Medal and Rifleman Expert Ribbon.
Roger had several hobbies, he loved to ride his Harley Davidson, often riding with a few friends around town. He also enjoyed spending time with his nephew, Oscar Delgado Jr. (Linda) listening to oldies but goodies. He enjoyed taking his daughters and friends to MK Davis for some good fish and a cold schooner. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was able to travel around the United States.
Roger will be remembered by his Mother Margaret Delgado; children, Cynthia D. Garansuay (Antonio), Jessica Marie Delgado, Evelyn Delgado, Leslie Delgado, Marisol Delgado, Celeste Delgado, and Joel Delgado; Granddaughters, Olivia Marie Garansuay, Julieana Nicole Garansuay, and Nina Sophia Garansuay; Siblings, Oscar Delgado, Roland Delgado (Mary), Lupe Delgado (Dominic), Robert Delgado, and Lisa Delgado. Roger will be remembered and missed by numerous friends, the community, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
