Rogelio O. Delgado

Rogelio O. Delgado went to be with our Heavenly Father on June 24, 2016. He was born in Kenedy, Texas on May 1, 1929 to Jesus and Julia Delgado. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Abigail Delgado; three daughters, Abbie Belanger (John Belanger), Rosie Guerra (Ralph Guerra) and Arabella Delgado; six sons, Roger Delgado Jr. (Mary Delgado), Fernando Delgado (Irene Delgado), Johnny Delgado (Tracy Delgado), Jesse Delgado (Toni Delgado), Xavier Delgado (Joann Delgado), and Henry Delgado (Veronica Delgado); twenty-four Grandchildren, and twenty-nine Great Grandchildren. He was a man who showed great courage and perseverance through life's challenges. He was resourceful, hardworking and dedicated to providing for his family. He was also a loving husband, proud father, grandfather and great grandfather. His sense of humor, sharp wit and compassionate nature made him someone to be admired and respected. His commitment to keeping a strong family unit is his legacy that he leaves for us. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
