Rodolfo Maya Vasquez

Rodolfo Maya Vasquez born on February 1, 1920 was called to be with the Lord on March 3, 2014 at the age of 94. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a baseball player, commentary, and umpire for El Rincon del Viejo Baseball Team. Mr. Vasquez is preceded in death by his wife, Susie G. Vasquez; daughter, Herlinda Paz; son, Angel Alexander Vasquez. He is survived by his children; Faustino A. (Carmen) Vasquez, Fernando A. (Yvonne) Vasquez, Margot (Miguel) Ramirez, Loretta (Javier) Palacios, Leticia (Juan) Sanchez, and Christopher Vasquez; 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. on March 10, 2014 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Prayer Service at 7:00p.m. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12:00pm on March 11, 2014 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
