Rodolfo “Rudy” Mendoza Gonzales entered the kingdom of heaven, on November 7, 2020 at the age of 62. He is survived by daughters, Erica Navarro and Christina Gonzales; and grandchildren Michael Navarro, Elias Navarro, and Selena Navarro. A beloved uncle, Rudy loved action films, joking, playing dominos and cards, and watching television with his favorite TV remote. Tagged “Batman” he had night vision, sonar hearing and intuitive instinct; he was always alert. In his last days, he happily joked and shared good conversation. He will forever be remembered for his silent and deep love for the Gonzales family.
In death, Rudy is reunited with his son, Rodolfo Jr. Gonzales; brothers, Robert Gonzales, Vicente Gonzales, Ruben Gonzales and Federico Gonzales; and parents, Federico and Maria De Las Nieves Gonzales.
Rudy is further survived by siblings: Rufina Holt, Dora Laureles, Rosa Godines, Elida Orchid, Maria Herrera, Rogelio Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Jose Gonzales; and many nephews and nieces.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Memorial at Funeraria del Angel Trevino – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to only 50 people in the building. Face coverings are required to be worn at all times.
The family will be receiving friends for a Memorial Visitation on Wednesday, November 18 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with the Memorial Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.
