Robert Edward Warner

Robert Edward Warner age 94 passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 in New Braunfels, Texas. Bob was born on April 27, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Max and Mattie Warner. He was a bank teller supervisor for over 30 years. Bob also worked at Roy Akers Funeral Home and was a Master Sergeant after 27 years in the Texas National Guard. Bob was ordained as a Deacon in 1966 and served for 24 years

Bob is preceded in death by his brother Max Warner Jr, his wife of 56 years Lena Bert Ellison Warner and son Robert Allen Warner. Survivors include his daughter, Betty Ann Warner, his granddaughter Stephanie Rae Worrell and her husband Britt Don Brownlee, great grandchildren Britt Don Brownlee Jr and Bobbie Rose Brownlee

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, March 26, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
