Robert E. Villareal

Robert (Bob) Villareal passed away peacefully on September 7, 2023, with his family lovingly by his side. Bob will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family as he truly loved each of them. Bob worked with the Edgewood Independent School District for most of his career working security and retired within recent years which gave him an opportunity to enjoy his first grandchild. His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family during barbecues while watching his beloved Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys or enjoying Lake LBJ surrounded by friends and family. His presence, smile and big personality will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Mary Louise Villareal and his loving wife, Angelica (Angie) Villareal.

He is survived by his children, Ashlee, Oralia, and Robert Jr Villareal; stepdaughters, Amy Garcia and Amanda Garcia; grandson, Joseph Villareal, step-grandsons, Ethan and Julian Guerra; his siblings, Susan (Jesse) Soto, Minerva (Rene) Esquivel, Sylvia Villareal and Jesse (Marty) Villareal, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many other loving relatives and countless friends who will forever hold Bob (Bullet) in their hearts.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 5:00

PM- 7:00 PM and Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, 78237.
