He was a brother who stood by all five of his sisters. He was the best friend to his brother. He was a proud grandpa to his seven grandchildren.
Robert had numerous nieces and nephews who had the utmost respect for him. Robert loved making people laugh. He never had a bad thing to say. You were always sure to get a laugh when being around him. Robert loved playing his guitar. He could make up a song and entertain you for hours. Robert had his own painting business “Valerio Quality Painting”, in Vanceboro, North Carolina. Painting was his passion. He was a very well known in the surrounding towns and known for having the best painting companies around. He had a successful business, but his illness forced him to sell and move back to San Antonio.
Robert was very charming and his personality was infectious. Robert had many friends who adored him.
He had been sick for many years, but no one ever knew the pain he had suffered because he always had a smile on his face. He fought a long battle but is now at peace with our Lord. Robert accepted the Lord twenty years ago. His sister, Alma, had the privilege of leading him to Christ. This is where we, as a family, will draw our strength from, knowing that our beloved is in the arms of Jesus Christ and will suffer no more. We will miss you.
