I still can remember the first time I met Rob (way too many years ago).  Katrina had brought him to a gaming session with our college friends. When she called me a month or so later and said that she was dating him, she wanted to know my opinion... All I said was "I approve".  He had impressed me that much with one meeting. I was at their wedding. My friend Katrina was blessed to have found this gentleman to share her life with. His devotion, faith, kindness, optimistic outlook and hard-work ethic were a true part of him. With him, actions were stronger than words. Even though our families have not kept in touch as much as we would like to have, and even though Rob and I only met a few times, I will remember his grin. I will never forget the last time I saw him- wearing a kilt and dancing with his lady love at the Tartan Ball.

One of Tom's work associates chose to honor Tom's brother, Rob, with a Sacred Heart Memorial.  Rob will be remembered daily in the Masses and Prayers of the Priests of the Sacred Heart "as long as the Grace of God is needed."

Rob was a tremendously devoted family man.  It was easy for all to see how important that was to him.  Whenever we talked or saw each other, his family was the predominant topic of conversation - and something of which he was very proud.

I'll always remember his laugh and his ready smile, actually it was more of a big grin!  The photo above is the way I think of him: happy, laughing and finding the joy in things.

God speed my brother and friend.  You will be thought of often, and sorely missed.

I always knew Rob would be a wonderful father.  When he visited our home, and his niece and nephew were very small, it was often hard to determine who was more excited by Rob's arrival.  Being a kid at heart, Rob would get right down on the floor and play with Jenny and Mike for hours.  He never tired of the repetition that is common in toddler play, and he was simply fantastic with the kids.  His visits were always looked forward to by all of us.  He brought his own sense of wonder and joy with him, and we always found something to laugh about.   Being from a family of storytellers, it was always amusing to hear his version of the tales of his childhood and the memories contained therein.  Although I will miss him more than I can say, I know he is with us always.

Rob set an example for all of us, the way he loved his family, the way he treated even the rudest of people with respect and decency.

I wish and pray for peace and the comfort of close family while you find your way through this painful ordeal.

Mr. Sotomayor was a good man and that I'm sad that he is gone.

Rob will be missed.  We will lift a beer in his memory during an upcoming gaming session.

I'll always remember his enthusiasm at our game days.

I always enjoyed the conversations we had and will miss the opportunity of having more a great deal. He was a good parent and I would like to think a friend that will be missed.

WE are very saddened by Robs death. His laughter and thinking out side the box were always fun to hear
