Robert Saenz

Robert Saenz, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend entered rest on March 6, 2012 at the age of 73. Robert, a native of San Antonio, was born to Itiel M. and Amparo Saenz on August 31, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Itiel Saenz, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Juana Servin Saenz; their children: Jaime Saenz (Jamie Lopez), Tania Saenz, Naomi Saenz Nowak, and Damian Saenz (Marisa); grandchildren: Anastasia, Koren, Sarah, Jett, Soraya, Bobby, Sebastian; 3 step-grandchildren; sister, Nora De La Garza; and loving family and friends. Robert attended Burbank High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves in 1956 and active U.S. Air Force from 1956-1960. He received a B.A. in mathematics from St. Mary’s University, 1969, and a M.A. in logistics from Wright-Patterson AFB (AFIT), 1977. He worked for civil service at Kelly AFB retiring after 24 years. Robert continued with successful business ventures in retirement. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2507 Fredericksburg Rd, Pastor James C.
