Robert spent his time working in construction but also spent a lot of time volunteering with the American Red Cross. He was a disaster volunteer, and delivered and distributed food and medical supplies during times of need. He was very proud of the work he did and the contributions he made in distributing supplies and support at Ground Zero and during Hurricane Katrina.
When Robert wasn’t working hard or volunteering he tried to find time to relax and enjoy his family. He loved music!! Playing the guitar and singing with the band, any stage time he loved it! He also enjoyed his morning coffee and watching and listening to the birds. He also loved any opportunity to have good BBQ with family and friends.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Pauline Riojas, brothers Alex, Rick, and Rodger Riojas, and his son Daniel j. Riojas.
He is survived by son Robert S. Wallace-Riojas and his wife Mary, of Texas. His daughters Deborah A. Ojeda (Gabby) and husband Rick of Ohio. Stephanie M. Carrasquillo and husband Jesse of California. His brother David Riojas and wife Linda of Texas and his sister Leticia Riojas of Texas. He also leaves behind; 16 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 26 nieces and nephews.
