Robert Ortiz, a life-long resident of San Antonio, Texas passed away January 24, 2021. Robert was born on February 12, 1948 and was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalio Ortiz and Corinna Moczygemba; his sister, Becky Dugan; his Aunt Maria “Cuca” Ortiz; and his daughter, Hannah Marie Ortiz.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ortiz; his sons, Aaron Ortiz (Christy) and Adam Ortiz (Niki); and his grandchildren, Judy Ortiz, Bobby Ortiz, Eric Ortiz and Violet Ortiz. He is also survived by his sister, Lindy Ortiz (Fred) and much-loved nieces and nephews.
He was the owner of Laser Craft Acoustical service for about 40 years. His hobbies were guitars and vintage sport cars. He loved to run around town in his Triumphs a TR6 and a Spitfire. He also loved his guitars and spent time playing guitar with some of his friends online.
Robert devoted his life to serving the Lord though Awana Clubs first a Alamo City Baptist Church and then at Community Bible Church. He had a heart for missions and helping children through sports activities and school functions.
The Private Graveside Service will be Monday, February 1, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park for family only. In the future, we hope to have a Memorial Service at Community Bible Church. Robert loved his family and his friends and will be greatly missed by all.
