

Robert “Bob” Larzelere, age 85, passed away July 11, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on September 29, 1937, in Buffalo, New York to George Woodworth Larzelere and Margaret Mary Huff Larzelere.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia Ann Larzelere, and his second wife, Mary Naomi Larzelere.
Bob spent his final years as a widower living at Landon Ridge Independent Living with his two cats, Cheetos and Simka. Bob loved living at Landon Ridge where he served as an ambassador and made many new friends.
Bob is survived by his two sons, William Larzelere and wife Sandra, Richard Larzelere and wife Stephanie: grandchildren, Jason Larzelere, Casey Larzelere, Cole Larzelere, Kyle Larzelere, Kylie Larzelere, Ty Larzelere, and Bo Larzelere; great-grandchildren, Gavin Gonzaba, Londyn Gonzales, Kallyn Gonzales, and Jase Larzelere.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Buffalo and his Master of Arts Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Captain after serving more than 20 years. Some of Bob’s careers after the Air Force included being a counselor at San Antonio Halfway House and a realtor with Coldwell Banker and Guy Chipman Company.
Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas 78238 on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with an evening service at 6:00 P.M. with Deacon Tom Elms officiating.
A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery Shelter #4 with full U.S. Air Force honors.
