Robert Chavez Hernandez

MSGT Robert C. Hernandez, U.S. Army Ret., born on November 9, 1948 in San Antonio, TX was called home to be with our Lord on December 27, 2016 at the age of 68. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Susie V. Hernandez; daughter, Diana V. Luna (Greg); favorite niece Brennah Viesca; daughter, Ronda Hernandez and son, Robert Hernandez, Jr., as well as numerous brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, Fermin Viesca; sisters-in-law, Linda Esperanza, Juanita and Teresa; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday January 10, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. for a Service at 9:15 a.m. at Si Se Puede Christian Ministries, 4711 Blanco Rd. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. We would like to thank Heartland Hospice and the VA Hospital Staff, Dr. Norma Cortinas, Michelle and Sandy for the amazing care he received. Mr. Hernandez had a special place in his heart for Julie, Larry, Edward, and Leonard. We will miss you Dad.
