

Robert was born in San Antonio, Texas to Santiago ‘Jimmy’ Guerra and Corine Huron on May 22nd, 1934. He graduated from Burbank High School, in San Antonio. He grew up with his three brothers, Gilbert, Jim and Roy.
Robert ‘Bob’ married Gloria Jean Jimenez on December 20th, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas.
He studied business at Santa Monica College in California, became a butcher, and then quickly excelled into supervising and meat merchandising. He was quite the legend within his field of work and brought extreme success to the meat industry.
Robert and Gloria raised four children, Shirley, Charlene, Sharon and Bobby and thoroughly enjoyed the west coast together. They happily spent their golden years deep in the heart of Texas.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Santiago and Corine, his older brother, Gilbert and the love of his life, Gloria Jean.
Robert is survived by his children: Shirley and her husband Phillip, Charlene and her husband Billy, Sharon and her husband Rick, and Robert ‘Bobby’ Guerra Jr.; his younger brothers, Jim and Roy; his grandchildren, Sophia, Sonny, Sarah and Lauree; as well as twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be his great-grandchildren, Santiago, Jacob, Joshua, Matthew, Joseph and Michael.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with Pastor John Meyers officiating. Burial will follow at El Carmen Cemetery.
