Robert M. Covarrubias, age 55, passed away August 3, 2014 in Temple, Texas. He was born on September 22, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. Robert was a hard working man and loving son, husband, father and brother. His love for hunting and fishing were known by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Covarrubias and is survived by his wife JoAnn Rodriguez; parents, Arnulfo “Raymond” and Mary Covarrubias; sons, John Robert and Joseph; brothers, Eugene, Felipe and Rick; sister, Linda; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Wednesday, August, 6, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, Texas. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North Cemetery.
