Retired SSGT Robert E. Broders

Robert E. Broders passed away on October 21, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on April 20, 1956 to Ronald and Virgina Broders in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is preceded in death by two infant sons, Walter Paul and Jessie Paul Broders; and his parents. Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years, Hilda; his sons, Robert E. Broders Jr. and Ronald Fred Broders; his daughter, Bobbie Broders; four grandchildren; and his sister, Janet Broders. Robert was a proud member of the United Stated Air Force and retired in 1994. In his twenty year career Robert had fourteen years’ experience in being an instructor in marksmanship and combat arms. He also had six years’ experience in being a fitness and recreational specialist. Robert took great pride in his military career. He will be missed by his family and friends. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, 78238 on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 A.M. Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Bethesda Christian Church, 2210 Basse Road, San Antonio, Texas 78213. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Air Force military honors.
