Robert "Bob" Glynn Williams

Robert G. (Bob) Williams of San Antonio, formerly of Winnsboro died August 8, 2017.Bob was born Dec. 4, 1945 in Prescott, Arizona to the late Aileen and Floyd Williams. He graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1964 and from East Texas State University in 1971, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity.

He is survived by his son Jared, love of his life, Kaye, both of San Antonio, sister Sandra "Siswa" Davis and her husband Clifford of Liberty City, and brother Pat of Winnsboro. Bob also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom he treasured, and many great nieces and nephews whom he adored.

Bob was a loving and kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor. He was a terrific father, fun-loving uncle, and a friend to many. His love of the outdoors, a result of growing up in northeast Texas, took him on many adventures on or near any type of water or snow. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, and never turned down a fine cigar or glass of port. Bob was sure to never miss a Dallas Cowboys game and loved his Texas Rangers. He will truly be missed. A celebration of Bob's life will follow at a later date.
