Richard Alvin Serna, born on February 16, 1970 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with the Lord on July 24, 2016 at the age of 46. He is preceded in death by his father, Federico Serna and his brother, Joe Serna. He is survived by his mother, Julia Westbrook; stepfather, Robert Westbrook; sister, Geri Favela; brothers, Fred Serna, Paul Serna (Darlene) and Karl Serna (Lesley); step brother, Robbie Westbrook; step sisters, Lura and Brenda; also numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. The Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at Trevino Funeral Home, 2525 Palo Alto Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for a Mass of the Resurrection at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church. Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
