Richard P. Ibarra

Richard Peña Ibarra, age 66, went to be with our Lord in eternal rest October 21, 2018 in Boerne, Texas. He was born March 27, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas. He will be reunited with his beloved Mother Mary Lou Ibarra, grandfathers, grandmothers, and other family members. Richard was a hardworking, honest, loving, and devoted father and grandfather. He was generous, compassionate, good Christian, and an inspiration to many. He was proud to have served in the United States Marine Corps and he was a retired San Antonio Fire Department Fireman, achieving the rank of District Fire Chief. Dad, we will miss you so much, you will always be in our hearts and minds.

He is survived by his children, Richard P. Ibarra and wife Priscilla, and Jennifer Ibarra Lauterbach; parent, Tony and wife, Leticia Ibarra; grandchildren, Miguel Flores, Alyssa Garcia, Riley Lauterbach, Jensen Lauterbach, Ricky Ibarra, Lorelai Lauterbach, Brooke and Emma Ibarra; brother Tony Ibarra Jr. and wife Bertha; former wives, Holly Ibarra and Kathy Jones.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5919 Ingram Road on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1 P.M.
