Richard B. Corpus

Richard B. Corpus, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the age of 49. He was born in San Antonio to parents, the late Gonzalo M. Corpus and Rosario B. Corpus, on February 8, 1963. Richard will always be remembered for his generosity, warm nature, contagious smile, joking nature and most especially for his devotion to his family. He will be missed by all who’s lives he touched. Richard was preceded in death by his father Gonzalo M Corpus, grandmothers Virgina Morales and Ramona Lopez and siblings Jaime and Rosario Corpus. He is survived by his mother Rosario B. Corpus; his loving wife of 20 years, Teresa R Corpus; his children Lisa Marie Teran and partner Sonia Contero, Sonia Vargas and husband Nicolas E Vargas, and Felicia Teran; grandchildren Nicolas E. Vargas Jr. and Nathan E. Vargas; brothers and sisters Carlos Barron and wife Janie Barron, Julio Corpus, Juan Leal, Gonzalo Corpus Jr. and wife Clarissa Tristan, Juanita Corpus-Mendiola and husband Michael Mendiola, Mary Jesse Alvardo and husband Andy Alvarado, Martha Corpus-Sanchez and husband Rafael Sanchez, Irma Esquivel and husband Modesto Esquivel , Monica Corpus-Moenkhaus and husband Mikel Moenkhaus; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family will receive friends at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 10am to 9pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. A procession will depart the funeral home the following morning, Friday, August 31, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at San Fernando Cathedral where services will conclude.
