Mr. Bell was born to his parents Lloyd & Lee Bell, on April 14, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force, serving his country for twenty-three years. He loved playing golf and was an avid Sports Fan. He always supported The Spurs; (San Antonio's favorite Basketball team). His grandchildren played in many different sports, and he loved hearing and watching every detail they shared with him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Patricia Franklin-Bell, and five children. Christopher Brent Bell, Robin Suzanne Bell-Machuca, Shabeth Anna Fulton-Stump, Crystal Rayne Fulton, Mandy Marie Fulton-Young. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jacqueline Rule, Justice Bell, Taylor Valeriano, Ejay Machuca, Trevor Stump, Camryn Bell, Jocelyn Painter, Ally Young, Cayden Stump, Madison Machado, Cori Jane Bell, Austin Young, Brenan Stump, Adeline Mae, Jordyn Bell, Jamison, Brantley Warren Bell, and one more tiny "Bell-Rule" expected this year!
He is survived by his brother Tom Bell and sister Jeanine Bell- Sutton and his niece and nephew Tiffany Bell and Timothy Marquez. His grandnieces and nephew, Angel Marquez, Venus Marquez & Raven Marquez. Richard's closest and dearest friends, Calvin and Arlene Lickfelt, Patricia Ann Gunning, and Aubrey and Carol Austin, also survive him.
He is predeceased by his first-born grandson, Warren Bell.
Richard led a life of Honor, Respect, Love & Faith.
His last words to his wife were this:
"Make sure, above all things said or unsaid, that my children and grandchildren know, without a single doubt, how dearly I will love them forever. If they ever think of me, I will live in their heart."
