Reymundo Padilla

Reymundo Padilla, born on June 3, 1944 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on February 14, 2017 at the age of 72. He graduated from Burbank H.S in 1962 and in July of that same year, he joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served aboard the USS Bushnell (ASR-15). Rey loved to take his grandkids to South Padre every summer. His grandkids were his pride and joy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Juanita Padilla; siblings, Concepcion Carroll, Elvira Hernandez, Jesse Padilla and Victoria Alonso. He is survived by his former spouse, Juanita Padilla, his children, Dion Padilla (Bertha), Steven Padilla (Yvette) and Priscilla Padilla; numerous grandchildren; and sister, Anita Morales (Alfredo). The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Procession will depart from the funeral home on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 9:15 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 223 E. Summit, San Antonio, TX 78212. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX.
