Reuben Valdez, Sr.

Reuben Valdez Sr. born on September 17, 1934 went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2018. He was born in New Berlin, Texas to Manuel and Josefa Valdez. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Heriberto Valdez; sister, Elida Esparza. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann C. Valdez, children; Debra Rodriguez (Rene), Ruben Valdez Jr. (Barbara), Michael Rene Valdez, Roy Valdez (Cynthia); grandchildren, April Mendez, Arica Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez Jr., Jeremy Ruben Valdez, Nicholas Valdez, Alexandria Valdez, Roy James Valdez; great grandchildren, Mathew Nicholas Mendez and, and Mia Nicole Mendez; brother, Reynaldo Valdez and wife Angelina; sisters, Estella Rodriguez, Frances Macias, Olga Hernandez and Ophelia Benavidez and sister-in-law, Fela Valdez . He will be truly missed by family and friends. The Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home on 226 Cupples Rd. The Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, Texas. Interment will follow at Valdez Cemetery in Zuehl, Texas.
