Rene Silva

Rene Silva entered into the loving arms of our Lord on October 9, 2022 at the tender age of 57. He was born on June 19, 1965 to Julia Hernandez and Elpidio Silva in Ft. Benning, Georgia. He was the older of two boys.

The Silva family was a military family and was moved as Mr. Silva was stationed. Rene was able to live in Georgia and later in Washington State. The family later moved to San Antonio, Texas where Rene graduated from Lanier High School in 1983. That is where he met Sylvia Trinidad. Rene was a big sports fan, he would play football, baseball, and basketball. He was also a big music fan and loved to attend concerts. Most of all, Rene loved his family. He made sure to spend time with the people he loved.

He will be reunited in heaven with his father, Elpido Silva; grandparents, Cruz and Elva Hernandez, and Santos and Julia Silva; aunt, Victoria Rendon; and uncle, Cruz Hernandez Jr.

Rene's memory will forever live in his partner of 38 years, Sylvia A. Trinidad; mother, Julia Hernandez Silva; brother, Joseph (Patsy) Silva; aunt, Vangie (Robert) Martinez; uncles, Raul (Margie) Hernandez, and Armando (Nancy) Hernandez; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family.
