Rene Carlos Galan

He is preceded in death by his father Carlos Galan Jr., Grandparents Carlos Galan Sr., Esther Galan, and Adolfo Valenzuela.

He leaves behind to cherish in his memory: Mother-Marcelina G. Esquivel and Husband, Lupe Esquivel; His children, Julissa Galan, LillyRose Galan and Rene “R.J.” Galan; Sisters, Mary Esther Munoz (Gabriel) and Jennifer Galan (Paul Jaramillo); Nieces & Nephews: Aaliya Renee Torres, Paul Ryan Jaramillo, Urijah Jaramillo and Matthew Gabriel & Alivya Grace Munoz. Uncles: Joel Galan and Albert Valenzuela.

Rene graduated high school from Blessed Sacrament Academy, Class of 2004. After graduation he attended S.T.V.T Vocational Tech School and earned AC/HVAC Certificate. Rene enjoyed working on cars, fishing at the beach and loved animals . He was also a problem-solver who often took on difficult and unwanted projects for family and friends. We loved his sense of humor and his caring ways. Rene will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at St. Leonard Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.
