

Raymond L. Garcia, born March 13, 1919 in Cueranaro, Mexico, went to be with our Lord on July 4, 2011 at the age of 92. He was a World War II Army Veteran that proudly served in the South Pacific Theatre. Raymond worked as an Aircraft Electrician on B-52 aircraft at Kelly Air Force Base and later retired from Civil Service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Augustina L. Garcia. He is survived by his children: Guadalupe G. Gomez and husband David, Raymond Leos Garcia and wife Rosa R., Pete Garcia, M.D. and wife Alicia, Oralia G. Rummage and husband Spencer James, Rosemary Hanna and husband Franklin D., Daniel Garcia and wife Leah, Magdalena Frein and husband Richard Lee; grandchildren: David Gomez, Jr. and wife Kennedy, Mary Helen G. Solis and husband Emilio, Mary Elizabeth Wehman and husband Victor III, Sonya R. Marquez and husband Ronald, Raymond R. Garcia III and wife Catherine, Tina Renee Mitchell and husband Leo, Franklin Raymond Hanna and wife Wendy, Jason Richard Hanna and wife Amy Lee, Bryan Daniel Garcia, Eric Scot Garcia, John Austin Garcia, Ashley Hannah Frein; great-grandchildren: Olivia C. Gomez, Joseph Gomez, Emilio Gomez Solis III, David Gomez Solis III, Brandon Wehman, Anthony Roland, Alicia Marquez, Elena Marquez, Andrew Garcia, Raymond Garcia IV, and his special friend Celia Estrada; siblings; Maria Pena, Agustin Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to acknowledge and give a special thank you to the staff at Eden Hill Communities and to everyone at Cima Hospice for the wonderful care and love they showed to our Dad. Also, a very special thanks to Raquel Rangel. Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., also Monday, July 11, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday evening. We will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2011 to St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Ft.
