Ray Hutson

Ray resided in Converse, Texas and worked in San Antonio, Texas at T&D Moravits as an estimator/ project manager for many years.

He loved to golf, read, hunt, attend history museums, and watch documentaries. In his spare time, he would go out to his shed and make jewelry boxes and any other wood project he could get his hands on. He loved to have his Blue Bell ice cream with chocolate syrup and drink milkshakes with his grandkids.

Ray was the kindest person you had ever met and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Hutson, mother in law, Maria Davis; daughters Nina (Angel) Garza, April Rosas and Amanda (Kyle) Alexander; grandchildren: Jacob Garza, Logan Rosas, and Maria Garza. Aunt ALva Bounds and her children Neil and Dana, nieces: Misty (Jimmy) Taylor, Jessica (Christopher) Bradshaw, Heather Holcombe and nephew Brandall Porter, along with numerous cousins and family and friends all over.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in passing by his brother Steve Hutson, sister Denise Hutson, and father in law Kenneth Davis.

A visitation for Ray will begin on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. A funeral service will follow. A Committal service with Army honors will be conducted at 1:00 PM, immediately following funeral services, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209.
