It's been over a year Tio and every Saturday I want to call you  as I always did.   I  now call your son Marty on Saturdays.    You are gone Tio but you are not forgotten.   I still have good memories we shared together.   Miss you Tio, your Grumpy nephew George.

Well its been over a year since you went back home to Our Father in Haven. I have called Gordon Milikan on Memorial Day as I promised he and I continue your and his Dad's friendship as our way of keeping your legacies alive.

We both were very happy to talk and remember you both on that special day of rememberence of our Veterans. It was truly a special day for Gordon and I.

We are all blessed to have lived and been touched by such heroric and loving Men. We miss l, yet remember and love you both everyday until we are reunited again!

Well family and friends, I made xontact with Gordon Millikan.  I saw  that Gordon wrote on this site.  It was a fantastic day when I saw it.  Dad and I had great conversations about Gordob's Dad Vaughn.  They were wonderful stories that only war buddies can relate to, althought for me great to listen to and appriciate. Gordon and I had a great conversation and we made a promise to eachother that we will ontinue our Dad's tradition to keep in touch.  It is Gordon's and my wau of showing our love and appriciation to thier friendshiphp and continue thier legacy.

My deepest condolences to your family.  I am the son of a WWII friend from Richmond Virginia, Vaughn Millikan. Raul and my Dad became close friends during some very difficult times in WWII.  They  lost contact for quite a few years, due to many moves and changes in phone numbers, but Raul kept trying to reconnect.  My Dad died in 1987 and about a year later Raul finally was able to contact my mother with the help of a very patient phone operator.  Since that time, about once a year I have spoken to Raul about our families and the friendship he and my Dad shared.  Raul even came to Richmond once to visit my Mom, my sister and I.  I will miss his phone calls, Raul was a very strong and caring person.  I am sure your family will truly miss him.

As a nurse for 21 years people come and go; however losing Mr. Rincon was different. Our staff here didn't only lose Mr. Rincon, but the entire family as well. The family was ever present and are all wonderful people. Marty, Pat and Margaret and Richard became part of our family and for that we are forever grateful. Thank you Rincon family for allowing us to SERVE you. You are in God's Army now Rincon. Gone, but never forgotten. We love you!! PS "Who is It"?

I knew Mr. Rincon through his son Marty whom i have the pleasure of knowing. He was a very pleasant and wonderful man. We were at Winstar casino in Oklahoma were he had such a great conversation. He talked about going to war and the truth about it. I felt so comfortable  talking to him i felt like family. I did not get to see him again but he will always be remembered. Our condolence to the Rincon famaly.

It was a pleasure having Mr. Ricon live with us at NewForest Estates.  He was always a kind and gentle man.  He will be missed by all of us here.

My uncle Raul (Moreno) was such a great uncle to me , not only to me but a great brother to my mom (Rebecca). He served the Army well and for a long time, very faithful to his country and to my mom. I love you uncle Moreno.

My dearest Uncle,  words cannot express how sad I feel now that you're no longer with us.  My heart aches, but rejoices knowing you're no longer in pain and with our heavenly father. I will always remember all the jokes and stories you told us.  The 'Many' times you played Hotel California,  by The Eagles.  That song will always hold a special place in my heart.  Like I've said many times before, you were more than an uncle to us. You were the father my dad (George) didn't have as he grew older and the grandfather I didn't have.

I can only hope that I live to be even a small amount of the wonderful person you were and do right by the Rincon name that you and daddy  gave me. Words can't describe how much my hearts hurts because I'll never be able to hug you, kiss you or see that beautiful smile that you blessed us all with, again. I know that you are forever with me, watching over me and taking care of me until the day we meet again. Your memory will forever live on in the hearts of all you have left behind. One day when I have my children, I will think back and smile as I tell them stories about the love you gave me while you were alive. You will forever be an example of how to love unconditionally, give whole heartedly, smile not just with your face but with your soul, and to always forgive, no matter what. I love you SO much grandpa, and I will miss you, everyday of my life.

Mr. Raul Rincon you will be greatly missed but never forgoten. I thank you for the love you showed me and thank you for your service in the Army. I will never forget your smile.
