Raul "Royti" Tovar Ortiz born on March 7, 1957 went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2017. He is preceded in death by his father Henry Ortiz. He is survived by his mother Maria Ortiz; sisters Marina Montez, Patricia Valentin (Luciano), Diana O. Bautista (Luis), Rachel Ortiz and JoAnn Calderon; numerous Nieces and Nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews & numerous aunts and uncles. Raul will miss his beloved dog Sid. He was a volunteer at the V.A. His family will remember him as a people person who had lots of friends. He will truly be missed by family and friends. Raul was a generous soul. A visitation will be on Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00pm at Trevino funeral home on 226 Cupples rd. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at 845 am for a 9:15 am mass at St. Henry Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Fort Sam National Cemetery.
