Dad, thinking of you as always.  I miss you so much, read all that is on your guest book.  I know many miss you, & see how much you are Loved.  I don't say were because I know when we leave this world we still live on, with Jesus.  As I know you to be a Godly man, a child of God.  I know you are keeping our heavenly home beautiful with your presence.  Keep all those who went before & after you close.  We will see you one glorified day. Although we never met Raul, through our long friendship with Lane & Martha we learned so much about a wonderful father and a true hero.  As Cicero said, "The life of the dead is placed into the memory of the living"  Our deepest sympathy to the entire Ochoa family.

Back in the early '60s, though I was just a kid, I remember Uncle Roy's visits to our home, and even then at a young age I could detect the tremendous respect and love between my Dad, Gonzalo and his "little brother".
Uncle Roy you will be missed.

I wll miss my uncle "Roy".  He was like a second father to me.  I remember when he returned from WWII, a true hero who fought with the 101st jumping from a plane at night on D-day, fought and wounded during the battle of Market Garden, and during the Battle of the Bulge at Bastone, where he was wounded again.  Wounded twice and awarded a Bronze Star.  My hero.

Mr. Ochoa is yet another humble hero of the greatest generation. He and my father served side by side throughout WWII. A man small in stature but the heat of a lion. He volunteered for the hardest training and toughest missions of WWII being a paratrooper. My Dad who passed away four years ago always said Raul was a quiet individual but not to underestimate him...he was one of the best Soldiers he ever served with...and they both served with the best...the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. Another Eagle has soared. I suspect F Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment is having one heck of a reunion right now. The Taylor Family

A great, funny man. I have many fond memories of Raul. (receiving birthday cards and asking "no money?") He will be missed. All our love and sympathy go out to the family.

I remember Mr Ochoa always wearing his war cap.... I used tell Salena..He always wears that hat... she would say ' De ja Lo '.We USED TO LAUGH ..you and your whole family are  my thoughts Love Jennifer and Ava
