Our Tata loved his profession as a carpenter, and foreman. He worked for Guido Construction Company supervising numerous jobsites in San Antonio. Some of the more well known job sites were: La Mansion on the Riverwalk, The Tower of Americas, Edison High School, Sul Ross Middle School, St. Mary's University Law Building, and the Guadalupe Cultural Center Playground. A few of the more personal projects included his family home, the Galan Food Market, Saved by Grace Church, and many family related projects. After leaving Guido Construction Company, he also worked for Falbo Construction Company. Later he was blessed to work with his two close friends, Joe Lopez, and Roy Rodriguez.
Our father has left us with endless memories that include his dry humor, and so many funny stories that we will continue to share at our family gatherings. A legacy that our father left to his family was his sincere and strong devotion serving the Lord at at Saved By Grace Church. As church members, both our father and mother enjoyed serving as Treasurer and Bookkeeper for many years.
