Raul Mario De La Garza Sr. was called home to be with the Lord, on December 19, 2013 at the age of 74. He battled cancer for many years, and fought a great fight. He is preceded in death by his daughter Margaret De La Garza and parents Raul and Carmen De La Garza. Raul Sr. is survived by his beloved wife, of 48 years of marriage, Margarita Z. De La Garza, children; Yvonne Velasco (Michael), Raul De La Garza Jr. (Catherine), grandchildren; Izabella ”Bella”, Ethan Raul, Alexandria, Julianna, Matthew, siblings; Oscar, Jorge, Maria Del Carmen, brother-in-laws ;Pete (Gloria), Hector (Maggie), sister-in-laws; Dora Alicia, Maria Elena (Gustavo),nieces, nephews and numerous family, friends and St. Lawrence Church Family. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2013, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 236 E. Petaluma St., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Everyone will meet at St. Lawrence Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection on Monday, December 23, 2013 with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
