Rachel Ruiz Flores

Rachel R. Flores passed away March 24, 2022. She was born in San Antonio, Tx on March 14, 1941 to Ramon and Juanita Ruiz. She was married to Rafael Flores Jr. for 24 years. Rachel was a homemaker and had a passion for knitting, cooking, and watching movies/novelas.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband Rafael Flores Jr., grandson Victor Puente Jr., her parents Ramon and Juanita Ruiz, in laws Rafael and Yesidra Flores, brothers Rodolfo Sr, Felipe and Robert Sr., Raul Ruiz, Juanito Ruiz Emilio Ruiz.

She is survived by her children Rafael Flores III, Roland Flores, Jessica Puente, Victor Puente Sr., Grandchildren Isaac Puente and Natalie Puente, sisters Maria, Frank Trevino, Elena Ruiz, Carmen Estrada, brothers Hilario, Grace Ruiz, Juanita Ruiz (sister-in-law) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Rachel will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A prayer service will held at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 8:00AM to 10:00 AM, Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. An interment will follow Friday, April 8, 2022 at San Fernando Cemetery II, 746 Castroville Road, San Antonio, Texas 78237.

Per the families request we are asking for family and guest keep facemask on while in the funeral home and in the chapel.
