Priscilla Santoy, age 81, born September 3, 1937 in Moorhead, Minnesota peacefully passed away on December 7, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several of her brothers and sisters. Priscilla, affectionately known to many as Granny, was a Fox Tech High School graduate of the class of 1957 and was well known for her wonderful cooking.
A loving mother and grandmother Mrs. Santoy is preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Santoy; son, Richard Anthony Santoy; parents, Felipa & Margarito Ochoa; brother, Robert "Beto" Ochoa. She is survived by her children, Rosemarie Santoy, Jerry Santoy; grandchildren, Michael Andrew Santoy, Jacqueline Marie Santoy, Faith Rose Santoy-Flores, Richard Anthony Santoy, Jr., Cassandra Santoy-Vergott (Gerald), Priscilla Yvonne Mayo (Moises), Desiree Torres (Gustavo), Margarito Santoy, Alexandra Santoy and Angie Santoy; Eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Lupe Martinez (Oscar), Mary Muniz (Rudy), Manuel Ochoa (Virginia), Mary Rose Mendoza (Roland), Jose Ochoa, Margaret Correa, Mary Lou Diaz (Pete) and John Ochoa (Blanca).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the Rosary and Life Celebration to be recited at 6:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home. 226 Cupples Rd. San Antonio Texas. 78237. The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 am on Monday, December 17, 2018 for a 11:00 am Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at San Juan de los Lagos Catholic Church with interment to follow in San Fernando Cemetery II. To celebrate a life well lived the family is requesting wearing a hint of white.
