A long time San Antonio citizen, Pauline Alameda (Selders) Price born on 18 August 1922 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Gertrude (McBride) Selders and Paul V. Selders of Oklahoma City. Polly passed away on July 14, 2011 in San Antonio. A 1942 Graduate of Central High School in Oklahoma City, she immediately joined the military, serving with the Coast Guard in WWII. She was preceded by her husband of 68 years, Dr. Terrill E. Price, COL. USAF (Ret). She held a BS degree from the University of Oklahoma and was the host of a San Antonio Local TV show in the 80's and 90's, interviewing writers and authors. Volunteering in many projects, Friends of the Library Arts and Letters organization was her love. Polly authored a book on Egypt (Sand In Our Shoes) and many magazine articles. An Archeologist, she spent time in Egypt with archeology groups. She is survived by her brother, James L. Selders of Jones, Oklahoma, nephews, James A. Selders of Frisco, Texas, Todd E. Selders of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and niece, Torree Selders Lein and her husband, Chris of Jacksonville, Florida. Brother-in-law, General William G. Price, III and nephew, Anthony Price of Northern Virginia. Niece, Helen E. Price of Washington D.C.
