Pete Medina Rivera, born on December 4, 1925 in San Antonio, TX was called to be with our Lord on July 21, 2015 at the age of 89. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He is preceded in death by daughter, Gloria Rivera; brother, Martin Rivera. He is survived by his wife, Maria C. Rivera; children, Linda Coronado, Joann (Alfonso) Martinez, Rachel Rivera, Isabel (Daniel) Ahearn, Peter (Cynthia) Rivera, Angie Rivera and Michael (Sylvia) Rivera; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Margarita Luna; nephew, Andrew Luna. The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2.
