Pedro L. Vasquez

Pedro L. Vasquez, 95, born October 21, 1917 in Guadalcazar, S.L.P., Mexico, passed away January 19, 2013 accompanied by family and friends in his home. He was born to Hilario and Andrea (Limon) Vasquez. Pedro is preceded in death by his wife Enriqueta Vasquez. He is survived by his daughters Carmen Vasquez and Andrea, husband Jose Cazares; grandsons Marcus, Matthew, wife Mandee; granddaughter Cassandra; great granddaughter Dahlia Cazares; sisters Hilaria Rubio, Elidia Rodriguez and numerous nephews and nieces and relatives. Pedro retired from Centeno Super Markets where he worked for several decades. He was loved by family, his compadres and many friends. His last years were spent attending the Sacred Heart Senior Center where he was a master story teller and enjoyed dancing the time away. Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home at 226 Cupples Rd. Procession will depart Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery No. 2.
