Pedro Lerma

Pedro “Pete” Lerma, age 79, passed away on May 28, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on May 17, 1936 in Fall City, Texas to Juan and Teresa A. Lerma. He retired after 23 years of active duty from the U.S. Army and later from Civil Service after another 20 years.

Pete is survived by his wife of 54 years, Enelda and his children David Lerma (Diane), Marcy Castanon (Rick), Daniel Lerma (Julie), Joe Lerma (Monica), and grandchildren Stephen Lerma, Vincent Lerma, Kimberly Castanon, Karen Castanon, Kevin Castanon, Matthew Lerma, Maya Lerma and Martin Lerma.

Visitation at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Austin Highway will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. with the Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2015 with a procession to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 9:45 a.m. for military honors and final burial.
