Pedro Satarain Gonzales

Pedro Satarain Gonzales, age 72, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2022. He was born November 5, 1950 in San Antonio, TX, he attended and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He worked at USAA for over 25 years and quickly realized life behind a desk was not for him. He soon got his CDL license and quickly took to the highways, he was truly happy to be in the outdoors with a life on the road.

Our father loved to be outdoors as much as he could, he enjoyed planning outings with his grandchildren as often as he could. Retirement never slowed him down, it only made him want to do more. We are left with a lifetime of memories that his grandchildren still talk about and will cherish for a lifetime.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond R. Gonzales and Amparo Satarain Rubio, along with his sister Lisa Montgomery. He is survived by his children Peter Jeffrey Gonzales, Jennifer Pauline Hernandez, Paul Joseph Gonzales, and Jessica Paula Gonzales, his four grandchildren Victoria Renee Hernandez, Hector Hernandez III, Michael Jae Gonzales, Ashton Ruben Gonzales and soo to be born, fifth grandchild, Jeremy Jose Pena-Gonzales.

There will be a small, private viewing for family held on December 29, 2022 at 6:00 PM to say our final goodbyes.
