Pauline M. Sul, a native of San Antonio, died August 2 at the age of 94 after a brief illness. She was a retired civil servant who worked at Kelly AFB during WW II and later was employed for decades at military installations in the area.
Pauline maintained a cheerful, witty and friendly personality that won her many friends over the years. It was the key to her long and productive life.
A beloved figure within her large extended family, Pauline was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Albert; her adored son, Mark; sisters Vita Ledesma (Tomas), Lee Barrera (Esequiel), and Carrie Flores (Rudolph); and her brother, Henry Munoz (Stella).
She is survived by numerous nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of Grace Church.
A public visitation will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Roy Akers Funeral Home, 515 N. Main Ave. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 17 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 223 E. Summit Ave., followed by burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11 a.mArrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers, San Antonio, TX.
