Paul was the son of Paul F. Tobias, Sr & Olivia Arriaga Tobias. Paul was born in San Antonio, TX on December 30, 1968.
He served veterans as a Program Support Assistant at the Nashville Campus of the TN Valley Healthcare System. He was a supporter of LGBTQ Community and words are not enough to express the gratitude he had in his heart for Veterans. Outside of his employment, Paul had an extraordinary ability to draw you in with his charismatic personality that was larger than life. He was found visiting and spending most of his time with family and friends. He loved life and shared his beautiful nature with all those around him. He enjoyed music and dancing as well as Mexican food. He had a contagious laugh and lit up any room he entered. ALA was one of his famous words.
Paul loved his family. He made time, sometimes daily, to call different family members and friends, just to check on them. He made it a point to call his brother daily to share jokes and laughs but was always a listening ear to those who needed one.
His joy for life, and love of people, will be missed by all who knew and love him. We will all miss him, more than words could say.
Paul is survived by his bother: Albert Arriaga Luna (sister-in-law Dora Casas), and sister Herlinda Freire, as well as multiple nieces, and nephews with extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Daniel Arriaga and sister: Maria de Jesus Arriaga and Nephew Albert Arriaga Jr. (Rocky).
