Paul Solis Jr.

Paul Solis Jr was born in San Antonio, TX to Oralia Guerrero and Paul Solis Sr. on March 25th, 1951. He attended school at Jefferson Highschool in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army for over 24 years and later retired. He then began to work for the State of Texas & the Department of Homeland Security for many years.

Paul Solis Jr. was very committed to helping Veterans during and after his Military and Government careers. He was part of the; Military Veterans for Christ (Board of Directors), Ft. Sam Houston Honor Guard, Military Wreaths Across America Member, Co-Judge for Bexar County Elections, and VSP Member of Blessed Sacrament Church.

Paul Solis Jr. is survived by his loving Partner; Mary Alice Garcia and her family. His Son Matthew Solis & Daughterh Stacy Follmer Ribbik.

In addition to a large group of caring family & friends.

Public Visitation will be Tuesday March 5th 9:00am-11:00am, Rosary from 11:00am – 12:00pm, and a Religious Service from 12:00pm-1:00pm. These events will be held at Sunset Memorial Park and Cemetery – 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas 78218.

Burial will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery from 1:30pm-1:50pm with Military Honors. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

The family of Paul Solis Jr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to all his loving friends and family during this difficult time. Paul Solis Jr was the life of any party he attended, a loving Father & Partner, and was a proud U.S. Military Veteran. He has left his footprint in many lives whether it was through his humor, infectious smile, or loving nature. His legacy will live on through those who truly loved & cared for him and he will be greatly missed.
