Paul Rocha, 82, peacefully passed away February 25, 2020. He was born May 20, 1937 in Westhoff, Texas to the late Leonardo Rocha and Guadalupe Montalvo Rocha. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving in the 82nd airborne division. While stationed in North Carolina, he met Mary Elizabeth King. After his discharge from the army, he and Mary married, moved back to Texas, and raised a family. Though he had limited education and vocational training, he worked hard to provide for his immediate and extended family. He had a long, successful career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retiring in the 1990’s. In his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with family. In his later years, he suffered from declining health, but still managed to keep his smile and humor.
He was a generous man who cared deeply about his immediate and extended family. He had a large extended family and will be lovingly remembered by all his family and friends.
