Paul served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force. He served in the Korean War as well as two tours of duty in Vietnam. Paul graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and received a Master’s Degree from St. Mary’s University in Personnel Management. He was a long time member of V.F.W. Post 9174 serving five years as the Commander. Paul Keller was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Eva May Keller Webster. He is survived by his wife, Juana Serrano Acosta Keller; his siblings, Mary Ellen Dwyer and her husband, Jack; Larry Joe Webster, and his wife, Midge; and Deborah Kay Jackson and her husband, Gerald; his children, Mario Vicente Keller and his wife Marla, Oliver Keller; and Albert Charles Keller and his wife Sharon; grandchildren, Joshua Allen Keller, Albert Keller, Alan Keller, Sara Marie Keller Fontaine; Crissa Amaya and her husband, Alex; Melanie Keller Reyna and her husband, Paul; Abbigail Chandler and her husband, Shaun; thirteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 28th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm. Burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will take place at 1:45 pm with Air Force Honors.
