Paul P. Gatica

Paul P. Gatica entered eternal rest on October 24, 2016 in Austin, Texas. Born in San Antonio, Texas to Pedro and Herminia Gatica on July 9, 1967; he now reunites with his father and maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his mother; siblings: Magdalena Salas (Leonard), Rebecca Rodriguez (Rey), Pedro P. Gatica Jr. (Leslie); partner Dr. Kenneth White, 2nieces, 6nephews, and numerous friends. Paul was a 1985 graduate of Holy Cross High School and obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Edwards University in 1990.He was a loveable person who showed his affection by making fun of others and keeping them smiling. You knew he liked you if he made fun of you in a loving way and was sure to enjoy the social scene. He enjoyed robots or Legos, horror movies and heavy metal concerts. He was a wonderful cook and his presence, love, and sense of humor will be missed dearly by all who knew him. The family will be receiving guests at Roy Akers funeral home on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:00p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00p.m. and Celebration of Life service to follow.
